Multiple grades, (k-3) had fun learning about the American artist Andy Warhol. Students studied Warhol’s series of “Sam” cats, drew and painted their own versions, and then collaged their “Sams” to a unique environment.

More samples of younger grades working on their Andy Warhol-inspired cats… All named Sam! There are also some photographs of a class that actually used their SAMs in a paper-collage project! Not only did we draw and paint our own cats, we also cut them out and gave them their own unique environment!
