For an art teacher, it seems like I barely ever have an opportunity to make my own art! Paperwork, grades, lesson planning… It isn’t easy being the only one serving 40 different classes! That’s over 1,100 students!
So, to stay sane and happy, I make a concerted effort to get out and DRAW!
One of my favorite places to study shapes and colors? The Garfield Park Conservatory. Chicago has so many great FREE resources, and this is one of them!
